It was a big showdown at the Volta Arena Kyanja, the home of the Jico League, as Felix Kakaire yet again led his troupes to a double victory against Nvuluga and LXG. He scored a goal in each of the games as collegian beat each team 2:0 Taking home maximum points.
Other goal scores were Limitek and Okumu. After the game the Collegian coach player Kizito who is away nursing an injury could not hide his joy and warned the next opponents. The two wins pushed Collegian to third place two points behind table leaders Solida FC.
Scorpion Kings were also not lucky in their first game as young stars Kasenge took them to a football school by beating them 4:0, they however recovered from the loss and defeated Mboyo FC1:0 to silence the Arena. By press time, Mboyo had not recovered from the defeat.
Jico 99 did not escape the wrath of theKampalaReport-sponsored Kaswandi. Kaswandi’s goal came from the lanky player Kenneth Kato who later got injured and was ruled out of the second game against Mbuyaga, which ended in a goalless draw. Coach Kasenyi Enoch did not hide his joy as he warned the next opponent of Kaswandi.
After drawing Kasenge FC, Kibati went ahead to beat Nvuluga the bottom-placed team 3:0 to climb to sixth position.
