KAMPALA: Vipers SC coach Roberto Oliveira completed a second award of the monthly Pilsner Lager-sponsored award after being declared winner of the accolade for March.
Oliviera was recognised on Wednesday, April 13 for leading Vipers to three wins in five matches played last month in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
The Brazilian beat-off challenge from URA FC’s Sam Timbe and Arua Hill SC’s Livingstone Mbabazi, who won two games and drew three apiece in March.
Vipers are indeed in tiptop form, which has seen them inch closer to the league title in recent weeks. They now lead the title race with nine points over second-placed KCCA FC.
Meanwhile, BUL FC’s Simon Peter Oketch scooped the Pilsner Lager Player of the month award for March.
He scored three goals (against UPDF FC and Tooro United), made one assist (against Busoga Utd), and added two man-of-the-match awards last month.
