The water project that was funded by the Development Response to Displacement Impacts Project (DRDIP) under the office of the Prime Minister was commissioned on Saturday by Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja.
Nabbanja said that the main objective of the scheme is to improve access to basic social services and expand economic opportunities and enhance environmental management for refugee host communities and settlements.
She also said that 34 villages will be connected to the same water project and will be managed by the National Water and Sewerage Corporation.
