In the course of your life, there will be so many things to distract you from fulfilling God’s purpose for your life. There will be temptations to walk out of God’s plan for you. Failure may discourage you, even frustrate you. Fear of the future and of the unknown may paralyse you. Your own weaknesses may try to pull you down. Your past weighs heavy on you.
One thing that could keep us going in such situations is a strong vision of the future; an assurance of something better, something far more wonderful than the present. Knowing who we truly are and the dignity associated with our identity will enable us to act in certain ways. It enables us to set really lofty goals. A clear vision of the future empowers us to go through the necessary pain associated with our journey to victory.
May Jesus Christ grant us the grace to discern and preserve great visions for our lives.
