Generally, each one of us has a rough idea how we want our life to look like. We have wishes and desires, we set goals, and we work to attain a certain quality of life. We’re headed in a certain direction. And generally, we’re convinced it’s the right direction.
Sometimes, though, our plans are disrupted by an external force. It could be something beyond our control, no matter our best efforts. We need to be conscious and flexible. It’s even possible that the disruption ushers in a Higher Purpose. In that case, we’d do well to recognise this and adjust appropriately.
May Jesus Christ grant us the grace to perceive the Hand of God at work, and to accept God’s purposes, in our lives.
