CAESAR’S SUNDAY THOUGHT
Deacon Julius Caesar Kamukama, a professional pharmacist is a clergy of the Archdiocese of Mbarara.
Readings: Acts 10:34a, 37-43. Col 3:1-4. Jn 20: 1-9
God manifests Himself to different individuals differently. All kinds of manifestation are meant to reveal an aspect of God’s infinite power and glory. He may choose, for example, to reveal His resurrection power that breaks through all barriers and situations. This is His way of seeking for us.
The beauty here is that even though, in our way of speaking, we say we’re seeking God, it’s Him who seeks us first. He gently, but powerfully, leaves signs for us. He points out the way. He shines light where we need to look. He sends us the right people at the right time. Our duty is to discern these pointers and hearken to them.
May the Risen Lord, Jesus Christ, grant us the grace to partake of his resurrection victory. May He confirm our faith in Him, and may this faith bear actual fruit.
And may Almighty God bless you, the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
