KCCA FC blew a chance to go top of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League table after drawing one-all with Police FC in a game played Tuesday, March 15 at the Phillip Omondi stadium.
Ashraf Mugume put KCCA ahead with a fourth minute goal before Juma Balinya equalized for Police from the penalty spot four minutes later.
The result dents KCCA’s league title ambitions. The Kasasiro Boys, who now have 42 points from 21 games, remain in second place. Vipers lead the 16-team log with 43 points from 20 games.
Elsewhere, Arua Hill defeated Bright Stars 1-0, thanks to Bright Vuni’s first half goal at Barifa stadium.
In Bombo, Rahmat Ssenfuka scored Wakiso Giants’ lone winner in the second half for the visitors to prevail 1-0 over hosts UPDF FC.
