KAMPALA: The Uganda Premier League (UPL) secretariat has made some changes in the fixtures to pave way for the Masaza Cup tournament opener that coincides with the league schedule this weekend. There was also need to create room for an upcoming women’s World Cup qualifier.
And in the process of those changes, two matches, involving Busoga United, have been affected.
First, the game between Busoga United and Soltilo Bright Stars FC, earlier set for Saturday (November 20) has been brought forward to tomorrow, November 20.
Second, Busoga United FC versus URA FC that was meant to be played on December 3, 2021 has been postponed to pave way for the Uganda versus South Africa game in the Under-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers. UPL chief executive officer Benard Bainamani said a new date for this figure will be communicated soon.
