FORMER world champions Germany and Spain are some of the European giants in action tonight as the race for slots to next year’s Fifa
World Cup finals rages on.
Germany, who are four-time world champions, have already booked their place to Qatar but will be out to enjoy themselves before their home
fans against Liechtenstein at the Volkswagen Arena in the penultimate of these qualifiers. For the visitors, there’s nothing but pride at stake as they lie bottom of Group J standings.
Meanwhile, two-time champions Spain take on Greece in the other highlight of tonight’s games at Olympic Stadium in Athens. Spain are
currently in second place on the Group B table with 13 points from six games while Greece are third, with nine points won from same number of games.
