Kigambira Safari Lodge has been named among the best tourist accommodations in the world after being given the Travellers’ Choice Award 2023 from Tripadvisor.

Tripadvisor is the world’s largest travel platform and is visited by over 463 million travelers each month.
Kigambira Safari Lodge is a luxury eco-lodge located in Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda.

It is a five-star lodge, with 12 independent cottages or bandas with a capacity to accommodate 20 guests. The hotel features a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a bar, and a garden in Bakijurura and offers a 24-hour front desk and room service.

Lake Mburo National Park is home to approximately 350 species of birds and 68 mammal species – Impala, Buffalo, Zebra, Hippos and more.”

Kigambira Safari Lodge gets its name from Lake Kigambira, one of the five lakes found within Lake Mburo National Park.

Kigambira Safari Lodge has set itself apart for its world-class hospitality services and impactful community outreach programs, which is part of its Corporate Social Responsibility.

At the successful marathon on January 15, 2022, dubbed Kigambira Marathon “Run in the Wild”, Kigambira Safari Lodge proprietor Brig Charles Bakahumura promised to pay this year’s school fees for the four girls who competed with the boys in the race and emerged winners.
