KAMPALA: Five days of festivities for the 2022 Uganda Film Festival (UFF) kicked off with Film Exhibition Market, Film Trainings, Film Forums and workshops, Film screenings, and lastly, an Awards Gala night that went down last night (Friday, June 3, 2022).

The 9th Edition of the UFF2022 Awards Gala night returns after a two-year COVID-19 induced lockdown.

With the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) as the main organizers, the five day event highlights and recognizes the various activities carried out by the commission throughout the year. During the event, awards, cash prizes and other prizes are handed out.
