The Omoro by-election has been filled with allegations of bribing voters. Opposition have accused security agencies of “openly” interfering in the Omoro parliamentary election through massive bribery and illegal arrests.

The father of the late former Speaker of Parliament, Nathan Okori blessed his grandson, Andrew Ojok Oulanyah ahead of the Omoro County by-election. “I am blessing you so that you become a Member of Parliament and serve your people like your father,” Mzee Okori said.
