There are so many things in this world that would have us worried. There are so many things that scare us, filling us with fear. Biggest among these is the future which is unknown. We also fear other people (not only are they unpredictable, they’re also uncontrollable).
Even though fear has a desirable aspect (sensitising us to the possibility of danger), it’s important to consider it rationally. At a basic level, not all things are to be feared to the same level. At a higher level, there’s no aspect of created reality to be feared, not even death. Only the Creator holds ultimate power.
May Jesus Christ, who’s able to save from eternal damnation, calm all our fears .
