Following their shock elimination of former winners Express FC last week, FUFA Big League side Adjumani Town Council FC was drawn against Police FC the two-legged Stanbic Uganda Cup semifinal.
Police FC also features in the FUFA Big League.
The draw conducted on Thursday, April 27 at the FUFA House in Mengo also pitted Vipers, the two-time winners (2016 and 2021) against Bright Stars in an all-StarTimes Uganda Premier League affair.
In the quarterfinals, Vipers eliminated lower division Calvary FC (4-1) while Bright Stars dumped KCCA FC 2-0 and Police ejected holders BUL FC after a 2-1 victory.
The first leg semifinal games will be played between May 14 and 15, with Vipers hosting Bright Stars at the St Mary’s stadium, Kitende and Police entertaining Adjumani at Kavumba Recreation ground.
Return leg matches are slated for May 20 to 27, according to organisers.
