Vipers’ title credentials will be put to a stern test by URA FC when the two sides clash in the highly-billed StarTimes Uganda Premier League match on Saturday (April 22) night at the St Mary’s stadium, Kitende.
Going into the match, the two sides are separated by just two points.
Vipers are third on the 15-team league table with 35 points from 18 games while fourth-placed URA FC has 33 points from 22 games.
Victory for Vipers could see the defending champions displace KCCA FC (38 points from 20 games) from the second position on goal difference. KCCA are scheduled to play against table leaders SC Villa (with 43 points from 22 games) on Sunday, April 23 at Lugogo.
In their recent games, Vipers beat UPDF FC (1-0) in Bombo while URA defeated KCCA 2-0 at the Mehta stadium in Lugazi.

In the other game scheduled for Saturday, Arua Hill will host Gaddafi FC at the Barifa stadium in Arua.
Meanwhile, Busoga United held BUL FC to a one-all draw in the game played Friday, April 21 at the Kakindu stadium.
With this draw, Busoga United leapt to 12th position from 13th on 23 points from 23 games. They are now four points above the relegation zone.
BUL remain in fifth position with 31 points from 22 games.
