Currently, KCCA and Express share the record of most Uganda Cup trophies at 10 apiece.
It’s worth noting that cup holders BUL FC are also still in the competition following their recent 1-0 win over SC Villa in a round-of-32 replay and subsequent 1-0 win over Onduparaka in the last-16.
In Friday’s game, KCCA qualified for the quarterfinals after beating Mbarara City FC 2-1 at the MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo.

Rogers Mato and Kankonde Tshisungu scored KCCA’s goals. Henry Kitegenyi netted for visiting Mbarara.
