Record ten-time Uganda Cup winners, Express FC and KCCA FC, got favourable opponents in the round-of-16 draw conducted Tuesday, February 28 at the FUFA House in Mengo.
The knock-out Uganda Cup last-16 matches will be played between March 11 and 17 at various venues around the country.
In the draws, conducted by former KCCA goalkeeping legend Sadiq Wassa, Express were drawn against FUFA Big League side Paidha Black Angels. The game will be host by Express at the Mutesa II stadium Wankulukuku.
KCCA got Mbarara City FC as their next opponents whom they will host at the Phillip Omondi stadium, Lugogo. Mbarara City also features in the FUFA Big League.

On the other hand, former winners Vipers SC will face tricky Wakiso Giants FC in an all-StarTimes Uganda Premier League encounter. Vipers will be the visiting side at Kavumba Recreation grounds.
The winner between cup holders BUL FC and SC Villa will play against Onduparaka FC.
Recently, the FUFA Referees Panel ordered a replay between BUL and Villa after reviewing the game, which the BUL had won 1-0. The Panel concluded that an assistant referee wrongly cancelled out Villa’s would be equalizing goal.
