Our daily circumstances are fertile ground for the fulfillment of God’s plan in our lives. When some doors close, concerning certain aspects of our lives, it’s an opportunity to start a new endeavour. Our presence at a given time, in a given place, is fulfillment of divine promises to some people. Our apparent weaknesses can be a starting point for renewal and wholeness.
Our current engagements form the foundation upon which our particular call in life is built. Our work can be seen as the foundation to a greater contribution in life. It gives us a basis to choose higher values (such as fishing people instead of fish). It’s from our present context that we judge what to leave out, what to continue with, or what to take on.
May Jesus Christ grant us the grace to listen to His call, and respond promptly.
