FIXTURES:
Wednesday, December 7@4pm:
Vipers v Onduparaka
Blacks Power v SC Villa
Maroons v Gaddafi FC
Former champions URA FC were held to a one-all draw by the army side, UPDF FC, on Tuesday, December 6 in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League game played at the Bombo Military Barracks ground.
In the other game on Tuesday, BUL FC beat Arua Hill 1-0 to go top of the 16-team table standings with 23 points from 11 matches.
BUL, however, could be toppled just 12 hours later by Vipers if they win their next games on Wednesday, December 7.
Defending champions Vipers, who lost 0-1 to Gaddafi FC on December 4, host Onduparaka FC at the St Mary’s stadium, Kitende. The Venoms will be out to recover from the shock defeat, and they are widely-tipped to beat Onduparaka.
SC Villa, meanwhile, will take on Blacks Power FC in the other game on Wednesday at the Akii-Bua Memorial stadium in Lira. It is a clash of ‘home’ teams, since SC Villa switched to Lira after being banned from Wankulukuku recently over hooliganism.
