BUL FC v Busoga United FC

SC Villa v KCCA FC
SC Villa play the first of their five home-sanctioned StarTimes Uganda Premier League (UPL) games when they host KCCA FC on Friday, November 25 at the Akii-bua memorial stadium in Lira.
It will be a rare sight of the city rivals playing against each other in Lira. But this is a disciplinary action against SC Villa after their fans attacked match officials at Wankulukuku during a 1-2 loss to Wakiso Giants FC on November 15.
Accordingly, the FUFA Competitions Disciplinary Panel charged the club for actions of hooliganism, imposed a five-match ban on their home ground and docked them two points and two goals.
The decision was a big setback to Villa’s ambition of winning the league title after 18 years. Currently, Villa are fourth on the 16-team table standings, with 14 points from eight games.
Going into Friday’s game, the Jogoos are coming off a 1-0 victory over Arua Hill SC while KCCA drew 1-1 with URA FC last Saturday, November 19.
KCCA are in the sixth position with 13 points from seven games.
Meanwhile, BUL FC host Busoga United in a Jinja derby at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru in the early kick-off game on Friday.
