Saturday, November 5@4pm:

KCCA FC v Blacks Power

Bright Stars v SC Villa

Yunus Sentamu’s second-half brace inspired Vipers SC to a 3-0 victory over Maroons FC in one of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League (UPL) games played on Friday, November 4.

Sentamu’s quick-fire brace in a space of minute (64th and 66th minutes) came on the back of Milton Karisa’s first half opening goal at the St Mary’s stadium, Kitende.

This is Vipers’ first victory of the season in which the defending champions have played three games so far. In the earlier games, Vipers drew (0-0) with Bright Stars and lost 0-1 to KCCA FC.

The win over Maroons lifts the Kitende-based champions move to 12th position on the 16-team table with four points.

Maroons, who suffered their second loss in six games, are fifth with eight points.

Elsewhere, Arua Hill SC continued with their impressive start to the season by beating UPDF FC 3-0 at the Barifa stadium on Friday afternoon.

Arua Hill, who are still unbeaten in four games, move to second place on the table with 10 points.

The league continues Saturday, November 5 with former champions KCCA FC and SC Villa both in action.

KCCA will host debutants Blacks Power FC at the Phillip Omondi stadium, Lugogo.

KCCA are coming off a 0-1loss to Maroons and Coach Morley Byekwaso will be desperate to see his Yellow Boys bounce back to winning ways.

SC Villa, the record 16-time Uganda league champions, will take on Bright Stars at Kavumba in Wakiso district.
