The national Under-23 and Under-20 men’s football teams have been summoned to prepare for upcoming Africa (AFCON) tournament engagements in respective categories.

For the U-23s, nicknamed The Kobs, will be in action against Guinea in the two-legged qualifiers for the 2023 TotalEnergies U-23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) whose finals are due in Morocco.

The Kobs play Guinea in the first leg game on Saturday, October 22 at a neutral venue in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Africa’s football ruling body, CAF ordered Guinea to host the game at a neutral venue because of the prevailing political instability in the country.

The return leg match will be played on October 29 at the St Mary’s stadium, Kitende.
