RESULT: Kyambogo 1 MUBS 2
Sharif Ssengendo and Benjamin Nazar scored in the 86th and 90th minute respectively as Makerere University Business School (MUBS) rallied to 2-1 victory over Kyambogo University in the first leg of the 2022 Pepsi University Football League quarterfinals.
Kyambogo scored first through Joram Lakba’s 44th minute goal in a closely-contested game played Tuesday, September 27 at Kyambogo grounds.
With this latest victory under their belt, MUBS extended their unbeaten record against Kyambogo to five wins in eight games.
The two sides will meet again on October 11 at Nakawa for the second leg game.
