Tanzania v Uganda Cranes
The Uganda Cranes will wind-up their two-match international friendly series at the Tri-Nation tournament Libya by playing Tanzania on Saturday, September 22 in Benghazi.
It is a highly-anticipated match between the two East African nations following their recent meeting the CHAN qualifiers, which Uganda Cranes won (5-1 on aggregate) to qualify for the Finals in Algeria next year.
For Tanzania, the game in Benghazi presents a chance to revenge while Uganda will be out to prove that their recent victory was not a fluke.
In their first game, Coach Milutin Micho Sredojevic’s Cranes shared spoils with hosts Libya after settling for a goalless draw on Wednesday, September 21.
Micho is expected to make limited changes in his starting lineup that kept Libya at bay, with youngsters Hillary Mukandane, Gavin Mugweri Kizito and Abdu Aziz Kayondo manning the defence.
