West Nile v Kampala in Arua
All is set for a highly-billed clash between West Nile Province and Kampala Province in the first leg quarterfinal of the ongoing 2022 FUFA Drum tournament.
The game will be played on Sunday, September 18 at the Green Light stadium in Arua, according to the schedule released Saturday by FUFA Spokesman Ahmed Hussein Marsha.
West Nile, who lost the 2018 final to Buganda, are looking for better results this time round. They thumped Karamoja Province 5-1 to qualify for the quarterfinals.
On the other hand, Kampala Province, led by stars such as Cranes’ squads-man Martin Kizza, eliminated Bukedi Province 4-1 in the last round.
The two-legged quarterfinals kicked off last weekend with Acholi Province beating Buganda Province 2-1 in the first leg game played at Boma grounds in Kitgum.
