The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Djibouti referees to officiate the 2022 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifying decider between Uganda Cranes and Tanzania.
The match is slated for Saturday, September 3 at the St Mary’s stadium, Kitende.
In a communication to FUFA, the local governing body, on Tuesday (August 30), CAF named Souleiman Ahmed Djama as the centre referee for the game.
Djama will be assisted by compatriots Liban Abdoulrazack Ahmed, Rachid Waiss Bouraleh and Saddam Houssein Mansour as first and second assistant referee and fourth official respectively.
The Cranes lead 1-0, thanks to Travis Mutyaba solitary winning goal from the first leg game played last weekend in Dar es Salaam.
Accordingly, the Cranes have the luxury of defending their lead with any draw and advance to the CHAN Finals due next year in Algeria.
