Alfred Egabile bagged a hat-trick as Muni University got their maiden victory in the Pepsi University Football League (UFL) after beating University of Kisubi 3-2 in a thrilling match played Wednesday, June 15.
Egabire was on the mark in the second minute, 47th and 61st minutes for visiting Muni at the Kisubi grounds. Kisubi’s goals were scored by Frank Tumusiime and Davis Kanyola.

However, both teams are out of the competition. After five games, they are both level on three points in Group B, and with one game left they cannot catch leaders Makerere University Business School (MUBS) and second-placed Nkumba University, who are on 12 points and nine points respectively.
MUBS and Nkumba face-off later on Thursday afternoon in a top-of-the-table clash in Entebbe.
