St Lawrence University v Mbarara University of Science & Technology
@Kavule
St. Lawrence University coach Nnono Ssozi has warned his players not to underestimate Mbarara University of Science and Technology as they host them on Wednesday at Kavule in the Pepsi University Football League.
St Lawrence are second in Group D with five points from their three games having won only one game and drawn twice while Mbarara University of Science & Technology are bottom of the table with one point from their three games.
Having won the first leg 2-1 in Mbarara, St Lawrence are confident but cautious they should be able to get all three points from Wednesday’s game.
“This is a must-win game for us or else our qualification chances will be jeopardized,” Nnono said ahead of the game.
“Mbarara are bottom of the group but we should not underestimate them because such teams tend to be a challenge in crucial moments like this.”
“We have become a team to beat so whenever we face any team they are always focused and targeting victory against us,” he added.
For Mbarara University, the game is also a must win of they are to retain any hopes of making it to the knockout stages of the competition as one of the two best runners-up.
