KAMPALA: Caroline Adoch one of the Makerere graduands has been awarded a Doctor of Laws (LL.D). In reference to the Makerere Law School Twitter post, she is the first woman to be awarded a Doctor of Laws at Makerere University in the university’s 100 years of existence.
Makerere’s 72nd graduation ceremony presents 208 law graduands: Doctor of Laws (1), Master of Laws (18), Bachelor of Laws (189).
During the colorful graduation ceremony, Prof. Ezra Suruma, Chancellor of Makerere University congratulated all graduands upon making it to the 72nd Graduation Ceremony.
“It’s a dream come true. I believe that hard work, determination, and commitment contributed significantly to your academic achievement,” he said.
Makerere University’s five-days graduation ceremony being held at Freedom Square started Monday, May 23, and will run till May 27, 2022, following the schedule below:
