BUL v Booma
Vipers SC outclassed Mbarara City FC 4-0 in the return leg match of the Stanbic Uganda Cup semifinals played Tuesday (May 17) to reach final on 6-1 aggregate victory.
Last week, Vipers won 2-1 in the first leg game at Kakyeka stadium. There was some hope of upset in the return leg tie at St Mary’s stadium, Kitende but Vipers, who have already won the StarTimes Uganda Premier League, were ruthless to visiting Mbarara.
Milton Karisa, Yunus Sentamu and Bobosi Byaruhanga scored the goals for Vipers to storm their second consecutive Uganda Cup final.
Vipers, who won the Cup last season and are on course for their first-ever domestic double triumph, could play BUL FC in a repeat of last year’s final.
BUL host lower division side, Booma FC in the return leg match of the other semifinal fixture on Wednesday, May 18. BUL lead 5-1 from the first leg.
