BUL FC, last year’s losing finalists, are almost certain of playing in this year’s final following their 5-1 victory over Booma FC in the first leg of the semifinals.

Simon Peter Oketch scored a brace as BUL romped to an emphatic victory in the first leg game played on Tuesday (May 10) in Masindi.

Richard Wandyaka, Ibrahim Kazindula and Karim Ndugwa added the other goals for BUL, whose massive win makes the return leg game in Jinja next week a formality.

Lower division side, Booma has a near-impossible task to overturn the result, but they can draw courage from the mantra that asserts in football anything can happen.

There were some even battles for the ball on the pitch despite the big score margin

Action in the continues Wednesday, May 11 with Mbarara City FC hosting cup holders Vipers SC at Kakyeka stadium for the first leg of their semi-final tie.
