Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says nearly 6,000 Russians have been killed in the first six days of Moscow’s invasion, and the Kremlin would not be able to take his country with bombs and airstrikes.
He said Russia was trying to get rid of Ukraine because of its attack on Babyn Yar, where a World War II massacre of Jews took place.
“This strike proves that for many people in Russia, our Kyiv is absolutely foreign,” he said.
They don’t know a thing about Kyiv, about our history.
But they all have orders to erase our history, erase our country, and erase us all.
