KAMPALA: The Auditor General John Muwanga on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Head of State House Anti-Corruption Unit, Brig. Gen. Isoke Henry.
H.E the President appointed Brig. Gen. Isoke as the new head of the State House Anti-Corruption Unit replacing Col. Edith Nakalema who is on a military course.
In her remarks, Col. Nakalema thanked the President for supporting her in the war against corruption.
The outgoing head of the State House Anti-Corruption Unit, Col. Nakalema, handed over office on Saturday at a colorful event in Kampala.
On assuming office, Brig. Gen. Isoke said corruption is winnable.
Brig. Isoke said he is confident that the fight against corruption is winnable. He pledged professionalism in handling public information and acting upon it expeditiously.
