KAMPALA: The head of government business in parliament, Honorable Thomas Tayebwa, said the country is confident that Miss Uganda Elizabeth Bagaya will do well at the Miss World beauty pageant, to be held on December 16, 2021 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
With a grand departure to represent Uganda at the 70th Miss World Beauty Pageant under the theme “Beauty and Purpose” at his Kampala office, Hon. Thomas Tayebwa said it is a huge opportunity for Uganda because we all know the exploits we achieved in 2018 when Quiin Abenakyo who represeted Uganda, became 5th overall and first in Africa.
The government Chief Whip said as a country, we have high hopes that Miss Elizabeth Bagaya will do even better. Mr Tayebwa called on the beauty queen to perfectly sell the image of the country out there.
He thanked the Nyaika Hotel for their support, praised the Miss Uganda team and encouraged them to join regularly to take advantage of these opportunities.
